VueScan is a scanning software that works with most high-quality flatbed and film scanners to produce scans that have precise, balanced colors. It is very easy to use, with powerful features that can restore faded colors, batch scans, and other great features used by professional photographers.

The VueScan software changes nothing on your system, does not install anything on your operating system, and any other scanner software you have ever owned will continue to work.

VueScan can automatically detect a USB flatbed scanner when it is opened. It also displays optional tooltips, and a message box on the Input tab asking what you want to do, following up the question with examples and specific actions.

VueScan also allows you to choose between several compatible scanners and image data sources, if available. The Scanner Calibration Control menu will automatically optimize the VueScan preview display, but the software offers many options for changing and enhancing the image, color balance, and other parameters.
