Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Driver

The Canon PIXMA Pro9000 is an inkjet printer that makes use of long-lasting inks that are dye-based. This is a photo printer that can produce prints of exceptional brilliance and clarity measuring up to 13 x 19 inches and can do so on a wide selection of specialty media and fine art paper.

The Canon PIXMA Pro9000 has an 8-color dip ink technology, which allows it to generate a large color space comparable to that of film positives, as well as offer colors that are more bright and have a higher glossiness. See also Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Driver

What’s New Ver.2.23

• Windows 8.1 has been added as a supported OS.
• Windows 8 has been added as a supported OS.
• Officially supports Windows 7.
• The following media types have been added as supported media: Photo Paper Pro II, and Photo Paper Pro Platinum
• The following function has been added to Print Options in the Page Setup tab: Disable the color profile setting of the application software When this function is set to ON, the color profile in the application is disabled, which enables printing using the color profile specified on the driver side.
• The “tone jump” problem on the print results which occurs printing the gray-shade data after specifying the ICC profiles has been rectified.

Setup Instructions

Download / Installation Procedures

1. Click the link, select [ Save ], specify “Save As”, then click [ Save ] to download the file.
   Memo :
   If you select [ Run ] ( or [ Open ] ) instead of [ Save ], the file will be automatically installed after it is saved.
2. The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the self-extracting form ( .exe format ).
3. Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.

Precaution

• With Internet Explorer 11, a website containing Japanese may not be printed properly. In Windows Update, update the OS and Internet Explorer to the latest version.
• If the printer driver is installed in Windows 8, and if Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 while keeping the printer driver installed, Enable bidirectional support in the printer properties may be deselected, disabling detection of the ink level, etc. Re-install the printer driver after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and Enable bidirectional support to be selected.
