Build & Design Quality

Despite having a solid gray and white plastic body, OfficeJet Pro 9015 is strong and feels sturdy. Just like the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025, you can slightly lift the scanner lid, which is good if you want to scan larger objects. However, if you extend the lid, it will come off the hinges and open the cable.

The scanner usually has to be closed without problems while the hinges are installed, but you might have difficulty installing it. The front paper tray is also not easy to open or close. On the bright side, ink cartridges are easily accessed by simply opening the cover, while paper jams are easily reached by lifting at the top of the scanner lid.

Display Screen

Still the same as other HP printers, OfficeJet Pro 9015 has an excellent color touch screen. This can be tilted vertically so you can see it from most angles. The touch control is also very responsive, easy to use, and provides audible feedback.

For scanning, Pro 9015 has exceptional scanning features. They have flatbed scanning that is suitable for fragile items such as old photos or large objects such as books. The scanning sheet, on the other hand, is great for scanning paper documents such as forms.

The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) can also process multiple pages in the sequence and duplex scanning is also a nice touch. Although the flatbed is not large enough to scan legal documents or tabloid pages, the flatbed will easily enter the regular mail format.

OfficeJet Pro 9015 has a great cartridge system. You will get many pages of black and colored ink cartridges before you have to replace them. If you still need more ink, you can get high-yield cartridges, which will further extend your page yield.

Printing Speed

This HP product has a very good printing speed. While the first page of a black text document might be slow to print, the next page prints faster. Color prints and photos also print quickly.

If you have many pages to print, the input tray can accommodate multiple sheets, so you do not need to load them too often.

Quality Photo Printing

This printer also has exceptional photo print quality. When printed on HP Advanced Photo Paper, the color is very bright and there are no margins on the gray palette. The details also look good, but the shadow area is less defined.

Color Accuracy

OfficeJet 9015 has mediocre color accuracy. This should not be a problem for most ordinary users, but for those who need accurate colors for their work, this might not be suitable for their needs.

Printing Size

OfficeJet Pro 9015 has an adjustable paper tray that can support the most popular paper formats.

Cost Per Print

For printing costs, OfficeJet Pro 9015 has an appropriate cost per print. It’s very affordable to print black text documents, making this printer the right choice when you have lots of essays or forms to print.

Color and photo printing is also cost-effective. Both black and color ink cartridges are quite cheap compared to the price of a printer. However, as you continue to print, you will pay more for the long term.

Remember that even if you only print in black, most inkjet printers will continue to use color cartridges for service tasks, so you might still need to replace them eventually.
