Canon PIXMA TS6320 Wireless Inkjet All-in-One Printer

Canon PIXMA TS6320 Wireless Inkjet All-in-One PrinterCanon PIXMA TS6320 is an All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer from Canon that allows you to save time and money. The printer is designed for home users who want a device capable of printing, scanning, and copying, and this printer offers settings that are easy to use and control from a mobile device.

The built-in Wi-Fi feature also allows you to print wirelessly from laptops, tablets, and smartphones, and the 1.44″ OLED display screen with direct buttons allows you to manage print and job settings directly from the printer. The TS6320 is capable of printing everything from documents and emails up to rich and bright photos up to 8.5 x 14″, and borderless printing is also available at sizes up to 8.5 x 11″.

Print life is also very good. The printer uses the Canon ChromaLife100 ink cartridge system, which protects photos from fading for up to 100 years in an album or 30 years behind glass.

For other all-in-one functions, the 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed scanner with 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution provides sharp and accurate color scanning and copying, and this unit produces up to 99 copies at a time with a color copy speed of around 6 5 ipm.

While handling your work, the printer has a 100-sheet front paper cassette and a 100-sheet back paper tray, and the compact design of the all-in-one unit makes it suitable for almost any room in your home or small office. from the results of our trials so that you get an idea before deciding to have a PIXMA TS6320.

Dimensions

Canon PIXMA TS6320 is a fairly compact multifunction printer. These are a little deeper than some of the other Canon home printers, but they are not very tall or wide, which makes them suitable for your dorm room or small home office.

  • Height: 5.6″ (14.1 cm)
  • Width: 14.9″ (37.9 cm)
  • Depth: 14.2″ (36.0 cm)
  • Weight: 14.1 lbs (6.4 kg)

Build & Design Quality

PIXMA TS6320 is a multipurpose printer that is well designed and looks sleek. The printer’s body feels sturdy and the plastic used is not too cheap.

There are paper input trays on the front and back of the printer and they have sliders to accommodate various paper sizes. The input tray feels very thin compared to the printer body, and the scanner hinges are rather thin, but not too much of a hassle.

Print cartridges are easy to access, but you can only change them if the printer is turned on. On the bright side, this printer has a removable back cover, making it a little easier to clear paper jams.

Display Screen

Canon TS6320 has a decent display. The buttons around the screen are very easy to use and menu controls are quite helpful. Text is quite easy to read, even at different angles, thanks to the high contrast OLED display. The screen is quite small, so once you go deeper into the printer settings, all information on the screen starts to feel a little cramped.

Cartridge

This All-In-One Wireless Printer has a reasonable inkjet cartridge system. Because it has several color cartridges, including a black photo cartridge, you only need to replace the empty one, this can help save costs.

Although the results of their standard black replacement cartridge pages are very poor, you can print a surprising number of color copies. Extra high capacity cartridges are also available that can help extend the print output.

This printer also accepts third-party cartridges, but this can void the warranty, and special attention must be paid because this printer uses a combination of dyes and pigment-based inks.

Scanner

For scanning, this printer has mediocre scanner features. It’s not a problem to scan multiple photos or documents from time to time, but the absence of a sheetfed scanner means it’s not suitable for scanning multiple documents quickly in quick succession. On the bright side, the scanner lid has a hinge that can be extended so that you can scan thicker documents, such as books.

Note that to achieve a 1200 DPI scan resolution in the Canon IJ Scan Utility, you must enter “Advanced Mode” on the “Scan for Teeth” tab, and select the desired output resolution.

Printing Speed

Canon TS6320 print speed is okay. The first page of the black and white document comes out pretty quickly, but the next page only prints a few seconds faster, so if you have a long report to print, it might take some time. Color documents are very slow, which can be annoying if you have a business proposal for printing that was due yesterday. That said, photos print very fast, which is great if you have lots of memories to add to the family scrapbook.

Photo Printing Quality

PIXMA TS6320 has exceptional photo print quality. Bright colors without being too saturated. The details are also clear and there is very little banding on the grayscale palette.

Color Accuracy

The TS6320’s color accuracy won’t be a big problem for most people, especially if you care more about the content of what you print than how it looks. However, you might still notice that the color print looks a little different compared to the source file, or in the case of a photocopy, the original document.

Cost Per Print

The Canon TS6320 has an excellent cost per print. Although it is not as economical as a monochrome laser printer to print documents only in black, the cost of color printing is quite low. It’s also rather cheap to print photos with this printer. The ink is quite affordable, even compared to the cost of the printer, and there are many different bundle packages to help you save even more.

Remember that even if you only print in black, most inkjet printers continue to use color cartridges for service tasks, so you might still need to replace them eventually.

Printing Size

The PIXMA TS6320 has two adjustable paper trays, one at the front of the printer and one at the back. Each tray supports the most popular paper formats and types, so you can load plain paper in one and photo paper in the other.

Connectivity

This Canon product has great connectivity options. You can set it up with your home Wi-Fi network or connect to it via Wi-Fi Direct if you don’t have access to the router. Unfortunately, there is no external storage support option, so you cannot print directly from a USB or memory card.

The printer supports Bluetooth, AirPrint, and Mopria for mobile printing while on the go, which is convenient. One of the connectivity options that is lacking is an ethernet connection. If that is important to you, check the Canon PIXMA iX6820.

Mobile Print App

Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY is a good overall cellular printing application. It is available for Android and iOS and can use it not only to print photos and documents but scan directly to your mobile.

There is a feature that lets you “scan” documents with your mobile camera too. Although this application prints Microsoft Office documents, it converts them instead of printing the original file, which can cause problems if certain features cannot be converted correctly before printing.
